The Strategy of National Rejuvenation through Science and Technology and the Goal of Building a Well-off Society in an All-round Way

“十六”大报告确立了全面建设小康社会的奋斗目标。建设小康社会离不开科教兴国。本文在阐述科教兴国战略兴起与发展的基础上 ,重点分析和论证了这一战略对全面建设小康社会的重要作用 ,中心涉及科教兴国战略与优化经济结构和开创新型工业化道路、科教兴国战略与可持续发展。

The 16th Party Congress Report sets the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way. To achieve this goal, the implementation of the strategy of national rejuvenation through science and technology is an indispensable prerequisite. This article gives a clear picture of what the above-mentioned strategy is; and on that basis, it makes a relatively full analysis and argumentation of the important role of such strategy in achieving our goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way. In the process of argumentation, this article mainly expounds relations between this strategy and the optimization of economic structure and pioneering the new road in industrialization, the sustainable development strategy as well as the goal of raising people's quality and realizing full development of the nationals.
