An Analysis of the Industrial Organizations of the Cross-national Companies in China: Equilibrium of the Economic Scaie Competition and Monopoly

竞争和垄断与产业规模都存在正相关关系。因此,不考虑跨国公司进入条件下的产业组织政策,往往会出现在限制垄断的同时,也削弱竞争力的结果。因为跨国公司进入可能引起竞争与垄断的逆转,所以,提高传统的产业规模标准,慎重拆分现有规模较大的产业等,将是必要的产业政策。

With the consideration of the positive relation between competition and monopoly, the paper argues that policies on industrial organizations of cross-national companies, without concern on their entry conditions, would bring about the consequences of curbing monopoly as well as crippling competition. The paper states that the entry of the cross-national companies could give rise to the reversion between competition and monopoly; therefore, policies should be biased on enhancing the traditional standards of industrial scale and taking cautious divisions of the existing large-scale industries.
