This paper introduces some peculiarities in the structural design and cost analysis of municipal Building of Administrative Center: disadvantages according to a great deal of field backfill should be considered in the foundation design, the definition of calculation model of large craft and three towers,steel composite component can be used when the size of structural member is limited ,and so on. Some useful proposals are presented for engineering practice.
