In the article, importance and development prospect of developing industry textiles in China are discussed. The excellent characteristics of nonwovens and its tremendous development potential in the field of industry textiles are pointed out. Application and development prospect of nonwovens in the industries of medicine and sanitary, civil architecture, environment protection and filter, agricultural nonwovens are introduced.
