杨昌济的教育思想是教学相长、与时俱进,贯通古今、融会中西,理论与实践相结合的产物,是一个内容丰富、特色鲜明、完整而科学的体系。其基本点有教育救国论、教育本质论、教育目的论、德育训练论、智育教授论、体育养护论、课程结构论、普及教育论、高等教育论、教师素质论。学习研究杨昌济的教育思想,具有深远的历史意义和重要的现实意义。
Yang Chang-ji's educational thoughts originated from his practices of teaching and learn-ing,from the development of the time,from the theories of the past and the present,and from both Western and Oriental theories.They constitute a comprehensive and scientific system with distinguishing characteristics.The basic points of the Thoughts include education for the country,the nature of educa-tion,the purpose of education,the infusion of morality,the instruction of knowledge,the restoration of physical health,the structure of courses,the popularization of education,higher education,and the com-petence of teachers.There lays profound historical and realistic meaning in the study and research of Yang Chang-ji's educational thoughts.
