In recent years, the oxidiation and hardening of long time deposited sulphur concentrate of some domestic mines has become a problem disturbing the enterprises. In view of this, the causes of oxidation and hardening of certain mine's sulfur concentrate were analysed and it was found through test that the removal of pyrrohotite by magnetic separation can be used to delay the occurrence of the oxidation and hardening of the sulfur concentrate.
