摘要
学术自由是大学的基本理念之一 ,是大学不可或缺的灵魂。大学“围绕知识的创造与应用而构建”这一本质属性 ,决定了学术自由存在于其中的必然性与合理性。历史上 ,学术自由受到政治力量干预和压制的事件屡见不鲜 ,这极大地影响了学术事业的发展与繁荣 ,留下了十分深刻的历史教训。坚持学术自由、思想自由的原则 ,是符合文化、教育和科学事业发展规律的 ,也是学术健康发展所必需的前提条件。
Academic freedom is considered one of the basic university ideas, and it forms the indispensable soul of the university. The essential attribute of university, that 'be established on the creation and the application of the knowledge', decides the inevitability and the rationality for the academic freedom to exist in it. In history, it was common occurrence for the academic freedom to be disturbed and pressed by the political strength. It greatly affected the development and the prosperity of the science and left us profound historical lesson. Insisting on the rule of academic freedom and thinking freedom conforms to the development law of culture, education and science. Moreover, it is the necessary precondition for the healthy development of the science.
