培养模式是建立在培养目标基础之上的。当前研究生培养目标的多样化使得世界各国研究生培养模式呈现出多样化的发展趋势。面对这一态势 ,作为研究生教育重要基地的大学 ,因其成立的历史背景、办学取向不同 ,学术传统各异 ,学科专业设置有别 ,在研究生培养模式的选择上呈现出各自的特点。因此 ,对大学进行分层 ,既有利于大学自身的可持续发展 ,也有利于不同研究生培养模式的实现 ,研究生培养质量的提高。

The cultivating model is based on the cultivating objective.At present graduates' cultivating model varies as the cultivating objective changes in the world.And the colleges as the bases of graduates education vary in the cultivating model selecting because of different historical background,scholl running guiding,academic tradition and discipline offering.Therefore,the classification of colleges is beneficial to colleges own development,realization of vary model and quality improvement.
