一年两茬为缓解我国人多地少的粮食压力,做出了极大的贡献。但是,水资源有限,从地表水中不可能以破坏生态环境为代价无限止地供给农业用水。实施保护性耕作既可以减少各项费用,又可以增加土壤的储水能力,是一年两茬作业可持续发展的有效途径。

The cultivation of two crops in one year has made great contributio ns for relieving the food pressure on China caused by larger population and less f armland. And because the water resources are limited, it is impossible to provid e water for the agriculture unlimitedly form the surface water with the price of damaging the ecological environment. The practice of protective cultivation, wh ich can not only cut down the fees of each item but also increase the water stor age ability of the soil, is an effective way of sustainable development with the cultivation of two crops in one year.
