摘要
在自制的仪器上,以脉冲激光束分别作用于浸透硼砂或氰化钾溶液的石墨和含有B、N等杂原子的稠环芳烃衍生物,产生了一系列链状构型的C_nX^-(X=B、N、H)。从实验记录的飞行时间质谱发现,随着这些簇离子中杂原子X的不同,其碳原子数或者均为偶数,或者均为奇数。通过对链状碳原子簇分子轨道级和电子数的分析,这一有趣的奇偶交替规律得到了满意的解释。
A series of carbon clusters mixec with a heteroatom (boron, nitrogen or hydrogen) were generated on a home-made apparatus with laser ablation of appropriate samples. By analysis of the recorded time-of-flight mass spectra, it is found that the number of .the carbon atoms contained in these ions has to be either a even umber or a odd number depending on the nature of the heteroatom. These cluster anions are believed to have linear chain configurations and the interesting behavior of the anions described in this paper can be rationalized from the studies of molecular orbitals of linear carbon clusters.
