Focus on Asia: The trend of Human Sciences in Overseas Countries--A View from IAR, UBC

加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学是全加第二大名校,该校亚洲研究所在北美享誉盛名。本文通过对亚洲研究所研究人员近年研究项目选题,以及与世界各国学者进行的交流互动活动的整理,辅以相关资料的研究,分析了这些研究课题的提出背景,并由此得出若干启示。

The University of British Columbia is one of the top universities in Canada. With plenty of productive research projects on Asia, the institute of Asia Research, UBC is very famous in North America,as well as in the world.Combining with study on Asia' s background and situation, this paper tries to find out some helpful inspiration by probing IAR' s active activities, along with its frequent and mutual context of the global academic community recently.
