From the analysis of the working principle of engine electronic controller rotational speed channel, an automatic test system is established with industrial control computer. The design process of the automatic test system is detailed in this paper with emphasis on the method of realizing virtual signal generator by using Advantech Company DAQ card PCL 818L.
