十三届四中全会以来,江泽民坚持与时俱进,以战略的眼光关注时代的变化和发展,把知识分子问题与现代化建设和国家前途联系起来,提出了关于知识分子阶级属性、地位作用、成长道路等一系列重要思想和理论观点,并进一步发展和完善了党的知识分子政策,从而使党的知识分子理论得到创造性的丰富与发展。

Since the fourth session of the 13 th central committee of the CPC, Jiang Zemin keeps in step with the times, pays close attention to its changes and development with strategic foresight, combines the question of intellectuals with the building of modernization and the future of the nation, puts forward a series of ideological and theoretical points of view such as the class attribute of intellectuals, their position and role and growth path and further develops and perfects the Party's policies on intellectuals,which creatively enriches and develops the Party's theory on intellectuals.
