PIC16F870 is the intermediate product of PIC series of single-chip computers, which U. S. A. Microchip company has produced. This paper introduces the main function of this chip and the design of the full-automatic washing machine with memory function. At the same time, it also introduces the constitution of the hardware system and the design of software. This system has the characteristics of strong function, simple structure, low costs and no peripheral chip.
