摘要
介绍了多弧离子渗碳的一些成果。用石墨阴极电弧源作为渗碳源,由冷阴极电弧放电产生了高密度碳离子流。试样(A3或20钢)在负偏压的作用下,碳离子流高速轰击试样,使其加热到900~1000℃高温,碳离子渗入试样内部形成高渗速渗碳层。同时研究了工艺参数与渗层厚度的关系,渗碳层的显微组织,渗层碳浓度分布。试验表明,这种多弧离子渗碳技术,是一种新的金属表面等离子渗碳技术,是离子渗碳工艺的新发展。
This paper deals with some results of multiarc ion carburizing.The cathode electric arc source is made of graphite.The arc source producesthe are discharging of cold cathods so that carbon plasma is formed and itsupplies the highdensity of carbon ion current.As the substrate is made offeel(A3 or 20 steel)and is supplied a proper negative bias.Under thefunction of bias the carbon ions bombard and heat the substrate to 900~1000℃.The carbon atoms infiltrate into the substrate and form an carburizing layeron the high speed steel.The relations of layer thickness with technologicparameters and the microstructure of carbon layer with concentration distri-bution of carbon in the layer are studied in the paper.The experimental resultsshow that the technique of the multiare ion carburizing a new teehique ofmetal being plasma surface carburized and a development for ion carburizingtechnology.
