Research on the Internet Based Multimedia Conference System

多媒体会议系统是一种典型实用的计算机支持协同工作(CSCW)应用。论文在简要说明基于Internet的多媒体会议系统的有关标准和研究成果的基础上,给出了一种基于Internet的多媒体会议系统体系结构,并依据该体系结构对于基于Internet的多媒体会议系统关键技术如服务模型、传输协议、会议控制机制与策略和安全保密性等进行了相应的分析研究,提出了关键技术研究中存在的主要问题和可行的解决方案。

Multimedia Conference System is a typical and useful application in the field of Computer Supported Coop-erative Work(CSCW).Based on the description of the criterias and the former research on the Internet Based Multime-dia Conference System,the system architecture of the Internet Based Multimedia Conference System is provided in this paper.Referring to its system architecture,the key techniques of the Internet Based Multimedia Conference System,such as serving model,transport protocols,conference control mechanism and policy and system security technology,are thor-oughly analyzed.Based on the analysis,the main problems in the research of the key techniques are put forward.The feasible solutions of these problems have been given out in the paper.
