摘要
近年来在adhoc网络中研究路由建立模型及其QoS性能已经作了许多工作,但是路由维护的能量消耗问题却被忽略了。由于移动主机的移动,一条路由的能量消耗值也随着发生变化。本文提出了一种基于距离的路由维护模型(DBRM),它在路由维护中利用切换技术来使路由的能量消耗值最小。另外各移动主机可以转换到不同的工作状态从而节省能量,各状态的持续时间根据节点的距离和剩余能量权值动态设定,从而较低限度减少其对路由切换的影响。仿真结果表明DBRM模型的能量节省总量要明显大于固定监听间隔工作方式IEEE802.11,也要大于GAF方案的随机监听间隔的能量管理方式。
In ad hoc networks, much excellent work has been done on establishing route and its quality of service (QoS), but the energy issue in route maintenance has been greatly ignored. Due to movement of mobile hosts, the energy consumption rate of a route may change with time. In this paper, a distancebased route maintenance (DBRM) scheme for the realtime data monitoring is proposed, in which a handoff mechanism is designed for adopting the nodes with minimal energy consumption rate to form the route. In addition, mobile hosts in a group may switch between different states of operations to conserve energy. To reduce the effect to the handoff mechanism, the doze period of nodes is set according to the node's attributes of distance and energy remaining. In the simulation experiments, we have shown that the amount of energy conserved from using DBRM is significantly larger than other two schemes.
