庾肩吾是著名的宫体诗作家,传世诗文内容丰富。他的应制诗和企慕隐逸诗多以山水描写为主,对唐代山水诗派产生了很大影响。他还是继承永明诗歌理论的探索者和实践者,为唐代近体诗繁荣作出了重大贡献。

Yu Jianwu was a famous poet of Gong Ti poetry and wrote many poems in all his life. His Ying zhi and Yinyi poems mainly described the attractive scenery and had a great effect on Shanshui poetry group in the Tang Dynasty. He was also a courageous researcher and a diligent practitioner of the Rong Ming poetry theory and did a great service to the prosperity of Jinti poetry in the Tong Dynasty.
