摘要
文章对比较教育的定义、特征及比较研究的弱点和优势进行了探讨。作者认为应用于比较教育研究中的“比较”是一种思维的过程、思维的方式 ,而不是一种具体的研究方法。“比较”在学科意义上不是技术上的平行对比 ,而在于对不同的知识形成内在的思想汇通。比较研究虽然容易形成对比较对象的简化和误读 ,但通过借助于外来参照系 ,又有利于反观自身、避免出现类似的错误 ,起到教育实验室的作用。
This article probes into the definition and characteristics of comparative education, and the weaknesses and advantages of comparative study. The author holds that 'comparison', as used in comparative education research, is not a method, but a way and the process of thinking. Academically, comparison does not simply mean technical contrast, but it means the integration of different knowledge. Though comparative study is apt to lead to the simplification and misunderstanding of the objects, it can be useful in introspecting oneself and avoiding making similar mistakes, thus it acts as an educational laboratory.
