晚明文人凌氵蒙初的"二拍"为当时白话短篇小说的代表作之一。故事中的人物在生存与伦理之间决择,在情欲与礼法之间挣扎,在功利与仁义之间徘徊,生存的审美价值已由伦理本位走向多元取向。

《Two Blockprinted Editions of Banging the Table in Surprise》 written by Ling MengChu,a scholar during the late Ming Dynasty,was one of representative works of short stories in the vernacular at that time.The characters in the stories had to make their choice between existence and moral principles,struggle for existence between sexual passion and legal principle,and hesitate at the crossroads between utility and benevolence & uprighteousness.Thus,aesthetic value of existence already ran from ethics standard to pluralistic choice between accepting and rejecting.\;
