Detailed descriptions of metallized safety-membrane of T Pattern and Mosaic Pattern are given with their advantage and shortcoming compared. To avoid the shortcoming of the metallized-polypropylene safety-membrane shown in early design, the new generation metallized-polypropylene safety-membrane is designed for the anti-explosion capacitor. Experimental data confirm the new product is safe and reliable.
