摘要
Ad Hoc网络是由移动主机通过无线链路连接而成的自治系统,其特点是多跳的无线链路、无固定基础设施和网络拓扑结构动态变化。如何使Ad Hoc网络的路由协议迅速适应网络拓扑结构变化,同时又尽可能降低系统开销,是具有挑战性的任务。文章针对Ad Hoc 网络路由协议的可扩展性问题,首先从路由开销的角度,分析了各种可行的改进措施,然后讨论了两种有代表性的层次化的路由协议及各自的优缺点,并对路由协议的可扩展性研究方向进行了展望。
Ad Hoc network is an autonomous system of mobile hosts connected by wireless links. It is characterized by multi-hop wireless links, absence of any static infrastructure, and the dynamic changing of network topology. It is a challenging task that how to make the Ad Hoc routing protocols adapt to the topology changing of Ad Hoc network quickly, while still reduce the system overhead as much as possible. This paper aims at the scalability aspect of routing protocols. At first, from the viewpoint of routing overhead, several feasible improving techniques are analyzed. Then, two representative hierarchical routing protocols as well as their advantages and disadvantages are discussed. At last, the direction of researching of Ad Hoc routing protocols scalability is prospected.
