The Team of ReIics of Luoyang City From November 2001 to April 2002,archaeologists in cooperation with urban construction conducted testing excavation at Xigong,bringing to light some Eastern Zhou tombs Five of them,respectively coded as C1M7226、7039、7258、7256、7257,are rectangular earthen shaft The tomb furniture includes a coffin and a coffin chamber Some of bronze ritual objects, weapons, chariot,horse fittings and jade articles were yielded These tombs belong to the middle to the late Spring and Autumn period based on the features and combinations of the funerary objects The tomb owners can be posetioned on the social scale below
