Furniture, a practical work of art, should meet the demands of both function and aesthetic wishes. The foot-style for furniture is the key part of making up the beauty of the furniture. In this paper, the authors discussed design methods for establishing some standard design rules. The foot-style for solid wood furniture was divided into four types and the molding methods including geometric figure, imitation, and follow suit, were also presented.
