Comprehending Local Systems

对生活在现实世界中的社会大众来说 ,产品交换、关系网络、地方习俗、伦理观念是最真切地存在于他们的日常生活中的社会要素。地方性制度解释的研究策略 ,正是要试图抛弃以往的诸如社会结构、社会分层、社会变迁之类的结构主义式的抽象概念 ,真正地以“在场”式参与观察的方法 ,走进“他者”的世界 ,去用心解读当地民众在日常生活中不断实践着的地方性制度 ,进而再现地方性制度的实践形态 。

For those people who live in the real world, exchange of products, network of relations, local customs and ethic ideas are social elements that exist vividly in their daily life. In the interpretation of local systems, an attempt is made to evade such abstract structuralist ideas as social structure, social stratification and social transformation and thus to adopt the 'on-the-spot'method of participation and investigation so as to enter into the world of 'others' experiencing the local systems practiced by ordinary people in their daily life and finally to reproduce the forms of practice of local systems and find the social subjectiveness of man in narration.
