Chinese Numerology traces its origin back to the Shamanistic culture of our predecessors and is one of the main supports of Taoist culture. When examined in the light of ideas raised in 'The consciousness Revolution', written by the American systems scholar Ervin Laszlo, it can be seen that research into Chinese numerology is of benefit in raising the consciousness of man and promoting a global change in culture. On a less global scale, Chinese numerology is not only a valuable preservation of China's past, but also stands as a guardian of the future of the Chinese nation.
