政治文明是人类社会发展三大文明建设的基本内容之一,中国特色社会主义政治文明就是发展社会主义民主政治、依法治国,是我国全面建设小康社会的重要目标。社会主义的政治文明建设体现了马克思主义理论与时俱进的时代特色;党的领导、人民当家作主和依法治国的有机统一是其根本特征。坚持和完善社会主义民主制度、加强社会主义法制建设、改革和完善决策机制、加强对权力的制约和监督等是建设政治文明的主要内容。
