重新认识西双版纳份地制及其在古代东方专制制度研究中的意义

A Reevaluation of Xishuangbanna Fen-land System and its Significance in the Study of the Ancient Oriental Dictatorial System

西双版纳土地制度直到解放前依然保持着封建农奴式的村社制,因而它具有独特的研究价值是毫无疑义的,但与中国古代奴隶制度的关系,以及由此推导出的对古代东方专制制度的认识却是颇有争议的。本文试图在马克思主义与时俱进的精神指导下,重新理解西双版纳土地制度的意义及对古代东方专制制度的启发意义。

Xishuangbanna land system had kept up its feuda l serfdom based on villages until 1949, and has no doubt its unique research value . However, its relation to the ancient Chinese serfdom and the inferred relation to the ancient Oriental dictatorial system have caused much controversy among t he scholars concerned. To keep pace with the times through adopting a Marxist ap proach, the author gives a reevaluation of Xishuangbanna land-system and its sig nificance in the study of the ancient Oriental dictatorial system.
