中国少数民族社会,由于历史和环境等诸方面的因素,越来越跟不上时代发展的步伐,与发达地区的差距在不断扩大。要缩小差距,就必须走一条非常规的社会发展道路,这就是通过生产力的跳越式发展,文化心理结构、经济结构、政治结构、法律制度等方面的转型,实现少数民族社会的跨越式发展。

Owing to historical, environmental and other fa ct ors, the minority society in China can hardly keep pace with the times and lags far behind the developed regions.
