论新时期中国民族文物的保护

On the Protection of Chinese Ethnic Cultural Relics in the New Period

民族文物作为中华民族优秀传统文化的重要组成部分,具有一定的历史、科学、艺术价值,应该受到珍视并得到强有力的保护。然而,新时期民族文物的消失、流失现象仍然显得十分突出,其原因在于对民族文物的概念、范围、分类、价值等一系列根本性问题尚缺乏公允的、统一的认识。作者通过长期以来对民族文博工作积累的一点实际经验,对民族文物作了初步的界定和分类,并对民族文物的保护工作提出了几点具体的措施。

Cultural relics, an important part of the fine tr aditional culture of the Chinese nation, have much historical, artistic and scie ntific value and should deserve much attention and protection. However, the new period still sees the disappearance or loss of many ethnic cultural relics becau se the people concerned do not have a fair and common understanding of the conce pt, classification and value of these cultural relics. The authors, with rich ex perience in this field, try to give a tentative definition and classification of such cultural relics and offer some suggestions and measures for their protecti on.
