摘要
本文介绍了Z39.50的用途 ,通过介绍国外联合目录的发展历程 ,指出虚拟联合目录的优越性 ,提出我国应加紧步伐 ,发展虚拟联合目录。
This paper introduces the purpose of Z39.50,indicates the superiority of virtual union catalog by generalizing the history about union catalog in the world, and suggests that we should catch up with the step to develop the virtual union catalog.
