The paper describes the calculation of forced acted on the pulling and tensioning devices, pulling rope and stringing pulleys, etc. during the tension stringing construction for Wuhu Yangtze River Large Crossing in±500 kV Long-Zheng transmission line. Concerned calculations required for the tension stringing of the large crossing before operation are also mentioned.
