Through the investigation of the shop repair and definite examination of the side frame, truck bolster, axle, brake beam and shock mitigation system of Turn - 8A type bogey before and after speed increase, sums up the features of the defects of Turn - 8 A type bogey after the speed increase of the goods train, analyses on the causes of these defects, and puts forward some improving measures.
