贸易开放度与中国经济增长

Trade Openness and Economic Growth in China

本文结合国外关于贸易开放度度量方法的新进展,选取5种指标具体测算了我国改革开放以来的贸易开放度,并且分析了各种指标对我国经济增长的影响作用。实证结果表明,不同的度量方法、不同的贸易开放度指标导致了不同的结论,而且在这5种度量指标中,只有外贸依存度较好地反映了我国经济开放程度与经济增长之间的关系。

Based on the new development of methods in measuring openness abroad, this paper adopts five openness indices to calculate trade openness in China since reform and opening-up and analyses the impacts of various indices on China's economic growth. Empirical results demonstrate that different measure methods would result in different conclusions and among the five openness indices foreign trade dependence is the only one suitable to depict the relationship between openness and economic growth in China.
