浅议高职英语教育中存在的问题及其解决办法

Problems of English Teaching at Higher Vocational College and Its Solutions

系统地分析了高等职业学校(院)在校学生的文化成绩形成背景.指出现在高职学生的英语水平相差十分悬殊,给教师授课和学生的学习造成了很大的困难.在分析了现行的部分教材不适合高职学生使用之后,提出了几点改进高职英语教学的意见.同时还指出,有关部门不应该过分地降低高等职业学校(院)的招生录取分数线,以免影响教学质量.

This paper systematically analyses the reason how the school scores of higher vocational college students were formed and points out that there is a great difference in English level among them, which makes it difficult teacher's teaching and students' learning. After showing that some English textbooks used now in college are not suitable for the students, it brings forward several opinions about improving English teaching of higher vocational college. Finally it also points out that excessively low enrollment score is one of the reasons that have bad influence on teaching quality.
