With the changes in the post Cold War international security environment,the adjustment of the reforms,and the evolution of NATO itself,China has correspondingly altered her understanding and countermeasures toward NATO.Many factors have contributed to the dialogue between China and NATO.China is conducting a dialogue with the Western military and political organization in order to establish a confidence building mechanism as part of a new attempt at multilateralism and multilateral diplomacy.
