The shape meter detecting system which consists of the shape meter and automatic detecting system is important for upgrading the rolling sheet. The structure and the principle of the first homemade magnet-elasticity differential output shape meter detecting system are introduced. It is significant for upgrading the rolling sheet and reaches the 90's international level.
