通过概述内蒙古鄂尔多斯分布有战国、秦、隋、宋、明五个时代长城的情况及其修筑的历史背景,详细描述鄂尔多斯高原传承至今的秦始皇跑马修边墙、孟姜女哭长城、昭君出塞、君子津传说、茶马互市、走西口、漫瀚调、鸡鸣三省、封贡互市明蒙商贸文化街等经典长城文化和传说,总结、分析出鄂尔多斯长城文化的多个特点和形成缘由,即鄂尔多斯高原是我国'长城带'的重要组成部分,这个地区是我国农耕与游牧交错的典型地区、经济文化交流的重要区域、商贸通道和草原丝绸之路的必经之地、民族融合的焦点地区、多元一体国情的集中体现地。

By summarizing the situation of the Great Wall of the Warring States,Qin,Sui,Song and Ming Dynasties in Erdos City of Inner Mongolia,and the historical background of its construction,the description of the Classical Great Wall culture and legends of Qin Shi-huang’s running horse repairing the side wall,the Meng Jiang-nv crying Great Wall,Wang Zhao-jun Outside the Frontier,Legend of Jun Zi-jin,tea and horse trade,Zouxikou,Manhandiao,sing through three provinces,Feng Gong Hu Shi Ming-meng Business and Culture Street,and the analysis of the characteristics and formation of the Great Wall culture of Ordos,namely Erdos plateau is an important part of China’s'Great Wall Belt'.This area is a typical area where China’s farming and nomads are intertwined,an important area for economic and cultural exchanges,a trade route and a must-see for the grassland Silk Road,and a focal point for national integration.
