Study on Social Service of Vocational College Library

[目的/意义]解决高职院校图书馆如何根据自身特点开展社会化服务的问题。[方法/过程]分析高职院校图书馆开展社会化服务的必然性和特殊性,探讨其特点,提出高职院校图书馆应如何根据自身特点进行社会化服务的策略。[结果/结论]高职院校图书馆的社会化服务体现以中小企业服务为主、以提供"三新"服务为主、以专业化服务为主的特点;其服务策略一是与地方图书馆合作建设虚拟图书馆,二是通过校内资源整合建立专兼职相结合的专业服务团队,三是通过校外资源整合建立中小企业技术服务数据库。

[Purpose/significance] The paper is to solve the problems in vocational college library’s offering social service basing on their characteristics. [Method/process] The paper analyzes the necessity and particularity for vocational college library to carry out social service, discusses their characteristics, and puts forward some strategies on carrying on social service according to their characteristics. [Result/conclusion]Vocational college library’s social service reflects the characteristics of serving small and medium-sized enterprises, offering 'three-new service' and professional service. The special strategies include: firstly, cooperating to establish virtual library with local library; secondly, building part-time and full-time professional service team with the integration of internal resources;thirdly, establishing technical service database for small and medium-sized enterprise with the integration of external resources.
