面向就业需求的图书情报硕士人才培养体系研究——以华盛顿大学信息学院为例

Analysis on Employment Demand-oriented System of Talent Cultivation in MLIS: Case Study of Information School,University of Washington

[目的/意义]旨在为图书情报领域硕士人才培养提供参考。[方法/过程]采用文献研究和网络调查相结合的方法对华盛顿大学信息学院展开深入研究,主要围绕该学院图书情报硕士的培养模式、课程体系设置、学位计划、就业指导与方向等方面进行分析。[结果/结论]该学院图书情报专业人才培养体系以就业需求和就业能力为导向,课程模块设计呈现跨学科、新内容、接轨社会需求,凸显就业导向等经验值得我国图书情报学专业借鉴。

[Purpose/significance]The paper is to provide references for the cultivation of masters in library and information science. [Method/process] The paper uses a method combining document research and network survey to conduct an in-depth study on Information School of University of Washington from the aspects of talent cultivation mode,curriculum system setting,degree planning,employment guidance and direction. [Result/conclusion] Talent cultivation system in MLIS in Information School is oriented to employment demands and employability. The experiences that curriculum module setting presents interdisciplinary,innovative content and in line with social needs,and highlights employment orientation are worthy of being used for reference for library and information science in China.
