摘要
作者认为,信息供需关系的变化和信息技术的发展,已经引起世界范围内科技情报体系和工作模式的改变,数据库产业化是必然趋势。文中分析了数据库事业的形成和发展的背景,考察了近年来国外发展动向,并根据我国的具体条件讨论了发展数据库事业的目标和对策。
The author regards the changes in the supply and demand relationship of information and the development of information technology have given rise to the modification of the sci-tech information system and the work pattern on a global scale. Thus, data-bases based on industry is the inevitable trend. The paper analyses the background for the formation and development of the database industry, investigates into the trend of its development abroad in recent years, and discusses the aims and countermeasures of developing it on the basis ot China’s specific conditions.
