铌铸铁气缸套的研究与应用

The Development and Application of Niobium Cast Iron for Cylinder Sleeves

铌铸铁是近年来新发展的一种内燃机和汽车发动机气缸套材料。本文提供了铌铸铁的铸造工艺,机械性能,切削加工性能,硬质相(铌(C.N)化物)和耐磨机理的试验数据,还提供了实际生产和装车使用寿命的考核结果,并与其它气缸套材料进行了性能数据比较。

In this paper, first the casting process of Nb east iron cylinder sleeves is given. Then,the laboratory figures of its pyhsical properties at room and elevated temperatures, machining performance and anti-wear characteristics are also given in details. The hard particles of Nb-C-N compound, their size, distribution, etc., are also described. Then service test of that type of sleeves is also done together with sleeves of other types of cast iron. The result shows that Nb sleeves are better than all others.
