Passageway, Boundary, and Living Space:A General Study On the Formation and Evolution of Nanling Ethnic Corridor

南岭并非天然的"民族走廊"。今日我们所见的南岭民族走廊是经过漫长的历史演进而形成,这一进程既包括不同族群的迁徒与互动,也包括南岭作为地理空间的开发史、作为文化象征的意义建构史,南岭作为民族走廊的形成过程也即此三者的演化、整合与变动过程。概言之,本文将透过族群、地理空间与文化象征三者的历史进程来对"南岭民族走廊是如何形成的"这一问题作出简要回答。

Nanling is not a born-to "ethnic corridor. The present situation of Nanling ethnic corridor we see today went through a long-time evolution process, which included the migration and interaction among different ethnic groups, the development history of Nanling as geographic space and the meaning construction of Nanling as cultural symbols. This paper attempts to give a general description of the historical process of ethnic groups,geographic space and cultural symbols of Nanling ethnic corridor.
