Objective To study and analyze the clinical significance of urinary microalbuminuria in the detection of early renal damage in elderly patients with hypertension. Methods 50 elderly hypertensive patients with early renal damage were selected as the observation group and 50 healthy subjects as the control group at the same time. The related basic data of the two groups were analyzed retrospectively. The urine microalbumin levels and positive rates were compared between the two groups. The clinical significance of urinary microalbumin in the diagnosis of early renal damage was analyzed. Results The level of urinary microalbuminuria in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),while the urine albumin positive in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The sexual rate of 74.0%was significantly higher than 8.0%of the control group(P<0.05).The level of urinary microalbuminuria in elderly patients with hypertension increased gradually among different grades(gradeⅠ,gradeⅡ,gradeⅢ),and there was significant difference between different grades(P<0.05).Conclusion In the process of clinical diagnosis of early renal damage in elderly patients with hypertension, urinary microalbuminuria has a significant effect, that is,the index can accurately evaluate the renal injury of the patients,so it is worthy of clinical application and popularization.
