日本、印度、俄国的现代诗歌及现代文学极大地影响了我国新诗的文体建设,直接催生了我国的自由诗革命。与西方诗歌的影响相比较,我国新诗在诗的写作内容和诗的功能上,受日本、印度、俄国的文艺思潮影响更大,19世纪末20世纪初日本的平民化文学运动直接影响了中国的新诗革命,具有生活化、写实性质和革命精神的俄国诗歌也受到中国新诗诗人的青睐。泰戈尔和马雅科夫斯基在诗写什么和怎么写上都对中国新诗人产生了巨大影响。

Japan, India and Russia's modern poetry and modern literature have greatly influenced the style of Chinese new poetry, which has given a birth to the revolution of Chinese free poetry. Comparing with the influence of the Western poetry, the contents and the functions of Chinese new poetry have been much influenced by the artistic thought of Japan, India and Russia. The literary movement which aimed to write for the common people has directly influenced the revolution of Chinese new poetry. The Russian poetry with life description, real and revolutionary spirit has enjoyed much popularity with the Chinese new poets. India poet R. Tagore and Russian poet B.B. MaяkoBCKий greatly influenced the Chinese new poets on what to write in the poetry and how to write poetry.
