论特殊化方法

On Specialization Method

本文简要分析了特殊化方法在科学研究与认识中的地位和作用。特殊化方法的广泛应用是人能动认识世界的需要,特殊化方法的有效性根植于一般与特殊(个别)的辩证关系和质量互变规律之中。笔者旨在说明一个道理:不能把特殊化视为片面化,特殊化方法也不能等同于以偏概全法。

The essay deals with the position and functions of specialization method in scientific study. The extensive application of specialization method is due to requirements of human beings to actively cognize the world, and its effectiveness is rooted in the dialectical relations between generality and partcu(?)arity and in the law of mutal change of quality and quantity. The essay is meant to make it clear that specialization should not be viewed as onesidedness, and specialization method is not the substitution of particularity for generality.
