Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy and safety of needle tube thoracic closed drainage combined with high frequency oscillation ventilation(HFOV)in the treatment of neonatal pneumothorax. Methods 60 cases of patients with neonatal pneumothorax those who received treatment in our hospital during January,2013 and December,2018 were chosen as the study objects.Children included were divided into experimental group(thoracic closed drainage with needle tube combined with HFOV)and control group(traditional closed thoracic drainage combined with conventional mechanical ventilation),30 cases in each group. The general information, the therapeutic outcomes, the clinical efficacy and the safety of two groups were compared. Results There was no statistical difference in general information between the two groups(P>0.05).The onset time, operation time, ventilator use time and the other indexes in experimental group were obviously lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The clinical total efficacy rate in experimental group(93.33%)was obviously higher than that in control group(73.33%),and the complication rate in experimental group(6.67%)was obviously lower than that in control group(30.00%),P<0.05.Conclusions The application of thoracic closed drainage with needle tube combined with HFOV in the treatment neonatal pneumothorax has obvious clinical efficacy and reliable safety, which is worth promoting.
