The shadow puppet show is a beloved local expression of art with a long history. The design of the characters should consider both the acting needs and the aesthetic needs under the light. Therefore the characters of the shadow puppet show have their unique languages as art objects. And also,during the long process of cultural heritage in history,the design of the characters has absorbed lots of art elements and has become an art expression with substantial characteristics.
