摘要
随着中国"文化强国"的发展,越来越多的西方读者对中国传统文化产生了兴趣。《碧奴》讲述的是孟姜女哭长城的传说,一经问世便吸引了中西方读者的关注,国内翻译界也对其译本给予了高度重视。接受美学以读者为重点,主要探讨译者主体性的发挥,为中国作品的英译研究和中国文化在世界范围内的传播提供了新思路。
With the development of Chinese cultural construction, more and more western readers become interested in traditional Chinese culture. Binu and the Great Wall tells a story of an ancient Chinese myth-a woman named Mengjiang wailing for the Great Wall.Readers at home and abroad paid much attention to it as soon as its publication. Chinese scholars also attached great importance on its translation. Focusing on the reader’s response, receptive aesthetics focuses on translator’ s subjectivity and provides a new perspective to study Chinese-English translation as well as to spread Chinese culture around the world.
