生态翻译视角下少数民族史诗的翻译——以戴乃迭英译《阿诗玛》为例

Translation of Minority' Epics from the Perspective of Ecological Translation——Taking Gladys Yang's Translation of Ashima as an Example

文章将生态翻译学引入少数民族翻译,通过从语言、文化、交际三个维度对戴乃迭英译《阿诗玛》进行分析,发现戴以高超的审美能力及丰富翻译经验为基础,灵活选择翻译策略和方法,实现了原语言生态在译文的保留。据此,文章提出译者在翻译时应遵循至少四点规则:选择权威的底本;培养超高的审美情趣;提高翻译能力;遵循译者"承诺的伦理"。

This paper introduces eco-translatology into the epics’ translation. By analyzing Gladys Yang’s translation of Ashima from three dimensions: language, culture, and communication, this paper finds that Gladys Yang’s always made flexible choice of translation strategies and methods based on the superb aesthetic ability and rich translation experience. And by doing this, the original language ecology is preserved in the English version. This paper puts forward that translators should follow at least four rules when translating, they are:choosing an authoritative and reliable source text;cultivating high aesthetic tastes;improving the translation ability;following the translator’s 'committed ethic'.
